The Sunshine Brooks Foundation is a nonprofit organization based in San Diego, California. It was established by the late Sunshine Brooks in 1985 to support a college scholarship program for employees of Costco Wholesale and their children. The Foundation's sole goal is to execute its scholarship program which provides qualified students with one-year grants of up to $1,500 each, to be used for tuition at accredited colleges or universities. Since 1986, the Foundation has awarded in excess of $3.90 million dollars in scholarship grants to assist individuals with their pursuit of higher education.
